Fashion Week {Tracy Reese}

It's fashion week in New York! So this week, I plan on sharing some of my favorite shows with you.
Starting with... Tracy Reese!
She brought beautiful colors & mixed gorgeous prints. Lovin' these looks especially.

All of these looks will be so easy to take from runway to ready-to-wear.

Happy Monday!

Fashion's Night Out

I adore this time of year. September is not everyone's favorite month, for some odd reason. I, however, love it. Here's why: Labor Day weekend- fabulous, fun weekend to celebrate summer. Football season. The start of fall. Pumpkin & apple season. Fashion's Night Out. Fashion Week.

One of my favorite September days is here: Fashion's Night Out!

FNO started in New York in 2009 by Anna Wintour and is now a worldwide event sponsored by Vogue and the CFDA. In case you don't remember, 2009 was not a good year for the fashion industry economically. Boutiques and designers were not raking in the money for the first time in a long time. In an event to save the industry, everyone gathered in New York to support the cause. Fashionistas everywhere, including many celebrities, traveled to NYC to shop 'til they dropped. It turned out to be such a fun and historical event in the fashion world that it caught on & spread like wildfire across the globe. If you can't go out tonight and spend hundreds of dollars like some others, support FNO by shopping their merchandise. To find a FNO retailer, go to the FNO website where you can buy this fab t shirt for just $25.
 I'll be celebrating the cause at Monkee's, the best local boutique. I have never attended obviously, since I just moved to Wilmington, but I hear it's been a packed house and tons of fun! I'm looking forward to it. If you're a local, come out and join in on the fun. If you're elsewhere in the world, go support your local boutiques or designers!

Happy Fashion's Night Out!

My Little Cup of Heaven

Brad was on call this entire holiday weekend. All seemed to be fine and good until last night. He was getting texts and phone calls throughout the wee hours of the night, including a very long and very loud call toward the end of the 4:00 hour. He got no sleep. I got no sleep. Needless to say, I'm struggling this morning. The only thing saving me is my little cup of heaven.

This quote couldn't be more true. Actually, the only reason I'm ever excited to wake up in the morning is because I get to savor a fat cup of joe.

And that's about all of the excitement I have in store for y'all today. Maybe in one hour when my coffee sets in, I'll rethink this atrocious post. But for now, my mind couldn't possibly come up with anything better than one about how much I adore my beloved morning coffee.

I promise to do better tomorrow.
