Kiddie Rooms

I keep stumbling across the most adorbs kids rooms on Pinterest lately. It's giving me major baby fever, but lucky for Brad, there will be no baby a brewin' in this belly anytime soon. I would, however, LOVE to decorate a nursery, a toddler's rooms, a preteen's room, a teen's room.... Any room but a grown up room. So... Any takers? Bueller?... Bueller?

Okay then. I suppose I'll get on with these fab rooms.

Seriously, these little love bugs have a better space than I do. So stinkin' cute... I can't even take it!

Pillow Talk

One thing lacking in my house were pillows. I searched high and low for fabrics for custom pillows, or inexpensive Etsy pillows, or manufactured pillows from home stores, but got nowhere. I found nothing. Nada. Zilch. While I love the popular fabrics that most bloggers have purchased for their pillows or drapes {no, I will not call you out}, I did not want to go in that direction. All the searching finally paid off. I am so friggin excited for my beloved pillows to arrive allll the way from India. THANK YOU, EBAY! You're amazing. Really, you are.
Brace yourself. They're fab.

Market Finds

World Market, that is...

Let's face it, we're all on a budget when it comes to decorating our homes. We moved into our new house in August with literally NOTHING to fill it with. We've spent, what feels like a million bucks since then on furniture and decor, and splurged a few too many times. It's design on a dime time.

Bradley & I visited World Market over the weekend and walked away with a new pillow & mirror for $100. OH YEAH, OH YEAH!

I also found these bad boys for super cheap... for what they are, anyway

Everyone needs a pharmacy lamp, and I'm loving this one for $89.99

Are y'all lovin' this wishbone chair as much as I am?? HELLO!! $139.99!!

Can this go in my backyard with a some white sheepskin and a fab pillow & blanket, please? Oh, and for just $179.99.

I can see it all now in this big head of mine, and I likey what I see...

Tell me, when you can't find a great thrift store find and want / need pieces for your home on the cheap, where do you look?

Love Is In The Air

I LOVE HOLIDAYS! I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY! I LOVE LOVE!

Glad I could get that off my chest...

Happy Valentine's Day to you all!
Even more importantly, Happy Valentine's Day to the most amazing man I know!

And to my sweet Ella & Brady
I love this man and these babies more and more every single day.

Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
We do!
Every year, Brad lets me shave some of his back hair off to form a heart. He's so festive!
LOOKIN' GOOD, BABE!
{I had to... there was just too much cheese for one post.}

Instagram Happenings

I've been a bad little blogger recently. I've been devoting my blogging hours to the Monkees blog and neglecting Xo Lindsay. No mas! So be sure to head over there to keep up with my Monkees and fashion posts if you're missing me.

Any who, I thought I'd share with you a few of my most recent Instagram hap'nin's, beginning with my babies hanging out on the front porch on a 75 & sunny day. Be jealy.

In the rare evenings that I get to take a time-out and enjoy a hot bubble bath, I also get to play 'boner' (as Brad & I call it... so inappropriate, I know) with Brady because he'll whine and carry on if I don't. But seriously, how could I resist that sweet face??

Over the weekend, Bradley and I went out with a few of our favorite couples to enjoy some Louisiana soul food at a downtown restaurant. Followed by a magic show. Followed by a gay bar. Followed by a little billiards (i'm so fancy that it's billiards, not pool). Followed by "get my arse home and to bed!"

Dining Room Update:
Wallpaper installation is Friday morning @ 8:30. FINALLY!

Oldie But Goodie

I've often take a gander at Jacqui Getty's Hollywood home {that was featured a million years ago in C Mag} when I'm in a decorating slump. Everything about this home is so inspirational to me. Maybe I'll just stop racking my brain on what I want for my home and replicate all of the pretties in the pics below.

My favorite part of her home, you ask? Okay, you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway: That blissful backyard! It's the perfect cozy spot to read, nap, sip drinks, read magazines... I might actually just have to recreate what I'm seeing there.

I'll continue to ever so slowly decorate the inside of my home, but come Spring, our backyard will be getting some much needed TLC.

So it was a good weekend- my dining room wallpaper arrived (UH-MA-ZING), Brad & I devoured Mexican & Italian food (UH-MA-ZING), I watched the fierce Beyonce perform (UH-MA-ZING), and once again, I visited the ol' RedBox (Word to the wise: DO NOT RENT 'PAPER BOY'- not so amazing. Quite disturbing, actually!)

Ta-ta fo' now!
