So, This Arrived...

I bought this tray table from One Kings Lane. (Don't worry, it's not near as shiny as it looks in this picture.) I had every intention on using it as a side table in one of my guest rooms, but the sucker is HUGE! Why didn't I measure, you ask? Well, I did. But, for some reason, it didn't seem quite as big when I pulled out my handy dandy measuring tape. Lemme tell you, it looked terrible as a side table. 

The question now is- What the crap am I gonna do with it? It's non-refundable. I guess I'll have to find a place in this teeny little house of mine...

Craigslist Find

I got me a new friend. I've finally found some outdoor seating that's tickled my fancy enough, and that's not a million dólares...

She's perfect just the way she is, right? Okay, wrong. She came to me this way. Poor thing is missing some extra cushion for the pushin', and she needs new fabric... This little diamond in the rough is my new project. I'll be outta town again this weekend, but maybe one day I'll have time to make her over.

Oh, hello. Remember me?? Yeah... Didn't think so. I've been quite absent for some time now... Let's play catch up, shall we?? 

I house sat a couple weekends ago. It was such hard work. 

Brad and I got a new toy

We celebrated Brad's birthday with friends

...And family...

I made him homemade beef wellington, per his birfday request

We visited my family in South Carolina for my sister-in-law's reveal party

It's a girl!!

It flooded in SC, and the babies got a free swimming pool for a day

We celebrated the 4th of July like most Americans

And we found more antique shops downtown

Phew... We're caught up. Back to regular posts. Promise.
